Yes, ideas are what drive actions, and ideas are spread through words - like Twitter, and like your post here on Medium.

A lot of people are lamenting Elon's takeover, but I'm holding my breath. We'll see what he does with it. Either way, somebody had power, and I'm not sure he will be worse.

I think the ultimate trick to good speech is not to police the ideas that people share, but rather, to police the logic they use.

Ad hominem attacks, straw men, and claims without citations - these are the real killers of good conversation. If we had media platforms enforcing a culture of avoiding logical fallacies, I think we'd be on a path to a better future.

I think most people argue for what they want to believe, rather than for what best describes reality. And I think that is very detrimental to us getting along.
