When you speak, speak for yourself, and don't claim to speak on behalf of others who haven't given you their consent to speak for them.

And when you speak to someone, speak to them - not to tham and everyone who is similar to them in some way.

And one more thing: we need to respond to what people actually say - not to straw man scarecrow arguments that we imagine them to have said.
