Well there's the "woke" ideal of recognizing societal inequities for what they are, and there's the "woke" mob, which purports to follow the woke ideal, but which in practice relies far too much on in group / out group rhetoric, and ad hominem and strawman fallacies to truly seek truth and understanding. And this causes the woke mob to fail at the woke ideal — which makes the woke mob hypocritical, and vulnerable to criticism.
Don't get me wrong - right wing tactics and beliefs are totally bonkers, and worse in a lot of ways.
But I believe being truly "woke" to the woke ideal actually means recognizing where the woke mob fails at fostering the woke ideal in itself. And in this regard, I think articles like this are actually counterproductive to the woke ideal.
