We really need to collectively realize that ancestry and heritage are not a valid justification for anything.

They are not a good reason to form any type of teams or tribes, and are not a valid reason to lay claim to anything - and that includes both land AND culture. Nobody owes or deserves anything because of what their parents did.

The only reason "Israel" is distinct from "Palestine" is because people believe the myth of ancestral claims. Once people stop believing that, and recognize that all of our tribes and differences are invented, problems like this will go away automatically.
