This hits the nail on the head for me. So many people commented on how this is such a great article. But I can't help thinking that it's just because the author is vaguely critical of capitalism (the silver-bullet scapegoat), and generally celebratory of "freedom" and "dignity" (and who doesn't like dignity?) - and the vagueness of it all allows people to just assume that the author is saying something that they want to hear.
