Okay, Well I was a little rushed on my first comment, But I actually tried pretty hard to select the right wording in order to be clear with my last comment. So sorry if I still wasn't clear.

Basically, Person 1 makes a statement 'A', and thinks (but may not explicitly say) that it implies 'C'. And meanwhile, Person 2 thinks that 'A' actually implies 'D', and therefore assumes / accuses Person 1 of believing 'D'. But Person 1 actually believes 'C', not 'D'. Does that makes sense?

Anyway, if you don't understand someone, can't you please ask for clarification, rather than making assumptions? And it's okay if you get bored with the conversation too, and want to stop. But please just don't go making assumptions.

And speaking of assumptions and projections, can you point out any specific thing I've said that implies any particular stance of mine regarding sexual impulse, self-control, or any difference betwen women's and men's experiences of those phenomena?

As far as I am aware, I've been mute on those subjects.

I think most people argue for what they want to believe, rather than for what best describes reality. And I think that is very detrimental to us getting along.
