Might be worth pointing out that humans' truest love seems to be consuming art, rather than creating it. That's why we collectively pay tons of money to consume art, and expect to be paid for creating it.
And of course, humans can still make as much art as they want on their own time, for the love of it.
Also worth mentioning that the best definition of "art" actually doesn't have anything to do with "creativity" per se, but rather, is simply this: "art is any expression of a preference".
By this definition, AIs currently aren't truly creating art, because they have no sentience for which to express a preference.
But the humans who prompt the AI to generate the art, and then select which pieces and iterations they want to eventually showcase - those humans are expressing a preference, and are therefore creating art.
