It's an interesting topic. At some level, these types of signs are basically equivalent to displaying a flag. They demonstrate affiliation to a particular cause. And I'm not exactly opposed to that.

What I am opposed to is stupid or hypocritical causes. And signs like this are certainly hypocritical, and not thoroughly considered - as evidenced by, if nothing else, the fact that even the people they are intended to benefit have mixed feelings about them.
