I guess that's fair enough as far as your actual vote goes.

As for this part I highlighted - I tend to think that extremism breeds counter-extremism. The real bulwark against either extreme are the centrist and the heterodox. So the far-right wack jobs (including Trump) are actually making wokeism worse (and vice versa).

Biden may be the last of his particular breed, but I don't think level-headedness has completely left the party. My next hope is on Pete Buttigieg, who I think is probably even better at speaking to both sides than Biden, or really any other politician on either side of the aisle.
