Fair enough. I suppose I should have been using the term 'nonreligious' instead of 'atheist', so as not to imply a false dichotomy between religion and atheism.

Although I don't tend to find deist arguments compelling over atheist ones, I am not nearly as worried about deism as I am about faith-based religion.
