Actually, we need the opposite to happen. The more platforms there are, the more they have to compete with each other, which brings prices down for the creators.

Also worth noting is that the people building the platforms are creators too, and most of the platforms they create and sink countless hours into won't see any income at all, much less $300 a month.

Although most "creators" make less than $300 a month, the top few become wealthy. And the same goes with platform developers. The bottom majority make zilch, while the top two or three became billionaires. Platform developers are "creators" too. They just work in a different medium (e.g. code) instead of text, music, etc.

You have to learn to think more wholisticly with your gripes.

I think most people argue for what they want to believe, rather than for what best describes reality. And I think that is very detrimental to us getting along.
